One of the first things I did when I started learning to play guitar was learn some music theory. Tbh, I didn’t stick with it for very long, but the bit that I have learned has gone a long way.
I heard that a ton of extremely successful musicians like Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan, The Beatles, and Slash have said that they don’t know music theory. So I did a bit of research to see what music theory even is, and what the point is, and is it helpful for guitar players.
Turns out music theory might not be exactly what you think, and might also be more useful than you think.
I was pretty sick while filming this and I’m still pretty sick. That’s not really important, but y’know, it sucks. ok bye
